A balanced wheel should leave once.
The weight held in the bay.Then it met the road.
Road film, oils, and leftover residue sit between the adhesive and the wheel. The weight can pass the tug test, then let go on the road.
Remove the old weight. Spray the old bond area and wipe away the remaining adhesive, dirt, and residue. Spray the clean bond area again, let it dry for a few seconds without wiping, then install the new weight.
Remove. Clean. Prep. Stick.
Two spray passes. Wipe the first. Let the second dry.

Remove.
Take off the old tape weight before cleaning the bond area.

Clean.
Spray the old weight area, then wipe away the remaining adhesive, dirt, and residue with a clean, dry cloth.

Prep.
Spray the clean bond area again. Let it dry for a few seconds. Do not wipe off this final application.

Stick.
Install and press the new tape weight in place using your shop's standard procedure.

Will it hurt custom paint or clear coat?+
Prep N Stick Quick Dry is safe for standard and custom wheel finishes, including clear coat and custom paint. Test specialty, refinished, ceramic-coated, or unknown finishes in an inconspicuous area first.
Why not use brake cleaner?+
Quick Dry is purpose-built for the wheel-weight bond area. It is free of TCE and perc, none of the banned carcinogen. Brake cleaner formulas vary.
Does it require a water rinse?+
No water rinse is required. Remove the old weight, spray and wipe the old bond area clean, then spray the clean bond area again. Let the final application dry for a few seconds without wiping and install the new weight.
Does it leave adhesive-interfering residue?+
No residue is known to interfere with pressure-sensitive wheel-weight adhesive when Quick Dry is used as directed.
What comes in a case?+

How far does one bottle go?+
